How do I register? |

To sign up for email@mobile, kindly select the sign up option on the home page and enter your details following the instructions given in the registration page. |

Can I register from my mobile phone? |

Yes, you can register from your mobile phone.
Here are some general instructions that will help you register
from your mobile phone: |

- Browse through your phone menu and select the option
to connect to web.
- Select the option to enter or access a url.
- Enter wap.emailatmobile.com and
select OK.
- A login screen will appear. Select sign up option at
the bottom of the page.
- Enter your details and select submit.

How do I access my emails on my mobile? |

How do I create a bookmark on my mobile phone? |

You can easily access your email@mobile
account from your mobile phone by creating a bookmark in
your mobile phone’s browser. |

- Browse through your phone menu and select the option to

- Select the option to enter or access a url.

select OK.
- Select the option to bookmark and save the bookmark.

Does email@mobile provide web access to email account? |
|
email@mobile has been designed specifically
for mobile access. The interface is automatically optimized
for the mobile phone you are using. And when you can access
your emails anytime anywhere on your mobile, do you
really need a web interface? |

What is alternate email address? |
|
Alternate email address is used to
send information regarding your account and a new password
in case you forget your existing one. However if
you don't have an email address, you can leave this field
blank when you register for email@mobile account. |

Why is registration information important? |
|
Your registration information is important
in case you ever forget your email@mobile ID or password.
We shall confirm your identity by using the information you
provided during registration. If you have entered any of this
information incorrectly or have forgotten what you entered,
we will not be able to remind you of your ID or send you
a new password. You can access your personal information entered during registration via My Account option on the home page. |

What if I forget my email@mobile ID or password? |

You can get a new password, an email@mobile ID reminder, or both. Visit the Sign-in Problems page and supply some basic verification information, which you provided when you registered. |

How do I change my password? |
|
If you would like to change your email@mobile password, just sign in to your email@mobile account with your current password and select “My Account” option on the home page. You will be asked to re-enter your current password for verification. Then:
- Select the "Change Password" link.
- Enter your current password in the first box.
- Enter your new password in the second box.
- Confirm your new password in the third box.
- Select the "Save" button.

What all information will email@mobile ask to enable me to reset my password in case I forget my earlier password? |

We will ask you only that information which
you provided during registration.
Note: email@mobile does not ask for your credit/debit card
numbers for confirming your identity to reset password or for
any other reason. |

Why am I getting invalid username or password error? |
|
email@mobile passwords are case-sensitive,
so make sure your mobile phone isn't locked on uppercase
letters or lowercase letters. Moreover make sure you are
entering your complete email@mobile username, including @emailatmobile.com. If
you still face any issues in logging in, please write to
us at support@emailatmobile.com |

Can I change my email@mobile ID? |

You cannot change your email@mobile ID except
by opening a new account. |

Can I access my email@mobile mail account from another mobile phone? |
|
Yes you can access your account from any
GPRS enabled mobile phone. There is no handset dependency
i.e. just like you need PC and internet to access web mail
same way you need a mobile with WAP 1.2 or above browser
and GPRS connection to access your email@mobile account on
mobile |

How do I close my account? |

email@mobile users can close their account
by sending an email to support@emailatmobile.com
By terminating your account, you will lose access to your email@mobile
Mail.
Please be sure you want to delete your account as you will
not be able to reactivate it after the account has
been deleted. You are always welcome to sign up again for a
new account. |

What are minimum mobile handset requirements for emailatmobile? |

Your phone browser needs to be
WAP 1.2 or above and capable of accessing internet.
Note: Majority of the mobile phones introduced in the market in past 2 years
have WAP 1.2 & above browser and are capable of internet browsing. |

Do email messages get stored in mobile handsets? |
|
No the email messages do not get stored in
the mobile handset. |

Can I open attachments in the emails sent to me? |
|
Yes. You can view .doc, .txt, .csv and .pdf
files and music files. |

Can I add attachments to my email? |
|
email@mobile has been designed to work with
basic mobile phones and due to limited mobile browser capabilities
you can only view the attachments. |

How secure is my mobile from viruses which come with emails? |
|
The emails never get stored on the handset.
The attachments get opened at the server and email@mobile
provides you a mobile view to the attachments so even if
you open a virus effected email, your handset does not get
corrupted. |
20. |
What if a call comes in while accessing my email account?
|
|
If any incoming call comes during your browsing
session, all the browsing activities will be paused so that
you can resume from where you left after finishing the call. |
21. |
I got a message, saying “No gateway reply” or “Connection to the server lost”? |
|
This message is prompted if your phone loses
its signal. Once your phone picks up the signal you can resume
your activities. |
22. |
I registered from my mobile phone and after submitting, my GPRS
connection got lost. Would my email id have got created? |
|
No. Till you get a message saying congratulations your
email id has been created, your email id has not been created.
In this case please submit the registration form once again.
|
|
Note: For device-specific or
network related problems that are not related to email@mobile,
we recommend contacting your network provider or mobile phone
manufacturer directly. |
